2008 Success
TERRY
KELLY’S FIFES TAKE TOP AWARDS
AT THE LARGEST FIFE SHOW IN THE WORLD
The 2008 North of England FFCC show attracted more than 1200 Fife canaries, which made it once again the largest Fife show in the world.
I was thrilled to win the top clear award with a beautiful clear buff hen which had already won every specialist Fife show she had been entered in. This bird narrowly beat my magnificent clear yellow cock, which was awarded second best clear.
The champion green Fife section attracted 167 quality exhibits from all over the UK. Once again I was thrilled to take the top award with a magnificent self green yellow cock.
My green yellow hen was placed second in a class of 60 quality exhibits.
In total I exhibited 12 Fifes and 9 were placed in the cards. I was pleased with this performance, as there were as many as 60 Fifes in some of these classes.
I bred some terrific Fifes in 2008 and the quality and consistency won through.
